The Handmade Soap Company launches stateside at Ulta.com.
December 7, 2020
By: Melissa Meisel
Crafted with kindness in the lush green countryside of county Meath, Ireland, The Handmade Soap Company is an Irish premium natural and eco-friendly bath and body brand to watch this season. Founded in 2009 by entrepreneur Donagh Quigley from his kitchen, The Handmade Soap Company features over 50 products including hand care, body care, hair care and home fragrance. A Happi favorite is the lavender liquid hand wash that has a subtle floral scent and a mild lather. All products are cruelty-free and vegan friendly too. Big news for this brand is its launch stateside at Ulta.com. At press time, there are six stunning and unique scent collections available spanning from Bergamot & Eucalyptus to Sweet Orange, Basil & Frankinscense. Pick one up for a friend or loved one this Holiday season! Not only does The Handmade Soap Company make gorgeously scented products that are kind and effective for skin, but it also goes above and beyond in its mission to care for its people, the community and our planet. All business decisions are made with the ethos to make the world a better place and it’s for this reason that the brand has been EcoCert-certified. In fact, let's talk packaging. All materials are 100% recyclable. The plastic is from Post-Consumer Recycled materials, the boxes are made from FSC approved sustainable cardboard. Also, according to the company the production and processing facilities are environmentally friendly. This has been done by repurposing an old linen mill and using the mill to hydropower the site and the manufacturing process, which drastically reduces the carbon footprint—a goal for many personal care companies for 2021 and beyond.
